Alright so winter will soon be ending and with the end of winter begins race season. In my area I enjoy going to some of the local autoX events and I was looking at these two mods and wondering If anyone had some huge reason why I shouldn't go through with them.

I drive a v6 and I know they aren't fast but I just like to go out to have fun and in an autoX speed and power don't count for as much as handleing.

The strut brace is probably the last thing Id worry about. There are much better mods out there for auto X.

get some shocks, struts, and springs. :D

I agree start with the basic mods that he listed. I dont see those in you sig so i assume you still have everything else stock. You need to do some research and pic some springs and shocks for what your going after.

well it sounds like you have done the autox thing more than once, other wise I would say go to at least a couple races stock so you really learn to drive before you start using suspension and tires, etc. to make up for poor driving. As far as good mods, the springs, shocks, struts, C/C plats, and those full length sub-frame connectors should do great. Be sure to read up on which type of spring you are buying so that it will react the way you want it to as well as provide an appropriate drop for racing as well as street use.

I agree with the aboves, springs and dampers for AutoX. Out of thoes two you posted forget the strut tower brace and go with the sub frame connectors (just about everyone will tell you that). I bought the same SFCs just over a week ago and am going to have them welded in weekend after next when I go home in time for Test&Tune opener for ARSCCA (WooHoo!).

I'm definatly doing the SFC but I don't think I'm going to buy them. One of my best friends is my gear guy and his dad has a steel fabrication shop so I'm just going to have him make them. (just talked to him about it tonight.) and the 3 point strut tower brace would put me up a class for the autoX so we are going to fab a 2 point that is similar to the one for the 05 that will cost pocket change cause he will do all the work for smokes and beer. Then I can spend the cash on the shocks, struts, CC's and maybe some new sway bars. don't want to go to crazy so I'm thinking the Bullit kit and then some CC's It's seems like a resonable kit
