Lowering Springs?
 

I was just wonderin how much work was involved in lowering my 97 mustang. I was checking out some springs from eibach. Does any one know if there are any better springs for lowering my car out there? Thanks for all the help

The search tool is a wonderful item. I recommend H&R springs. but do a search here and you will learn a bunch.

I had Steeda Sports on for 1 season and I just changed them out for Eibach Prokit...the ride quality and drop is day and night...Eibach FTW big time

I just finished installing springs, struts and caster camber plates on the front of my mustang... Took me roughly 2 hours a side.. That was taking my time, reading all the literature, wire brushing the a-arms to clean out the spring contacts and painting the a-arms. Took me about 10-15 minutes to pull everything apart and remove springs/shocks after doing the 1st side.. I didn't even need a spring compressor. I supported the A-arm with my floor jack and after removing the necessary parts, lowered it down slowly. There was no worry at all about the spring flying out... The only advice is to jack the car up as high as you can get it so that your a-arms drop down low enough to remove the spring. I jacked mine up at the top of my 6 ton jack stands and positioned them under the front portion of my subframe connectors... I was going to do the rear today, but found a defective part that I have to swap out :( . My HR Race Springs lowered my front about an inch so far, but am using new top and bottom urethane isolators. Should drop a bit more when they conform to the spring.
