How easy to install castor/camber plates?

I just recieved my j & m castor camber plates from AM, and I'm trying to find out the best way to install them. Are they easy to do yourself or should I have someone else do them? A place around me quoted 2 hours of labor totaling $170. That seems a bit high but I'm not sure? Any tips or good writeups would be appreciated too....

Dude I know what your going through. I just put my MM CC plates on about 3 weeks ago. When I got em I was concerned to say the least. But me and a buddy tackeled the job and it was pretty easy.

Start off by taking the retaining nut off top of the strut rod under the hood. After that, jack the car up and put it on jack stands and take the wheels off. Then take another jack and put it under the A arm and raise the A arm a couple inches to get some pressure on it. Then you can take the bottom nut off the sway bar. Then get back under the hood and take the factory CC plates off ( I guess you could have done that at the beginning but I did it a lil backwards when I did it my self LOL) After the strut is free up top get back on the jack under the A arm and lower everything down SLOWLY. Dont forget to unclip your brake lines outta the clip in the top of the fenderwell. Everything SHOULD lower JUST far enough to get the stut sticking outta the fenderwell. with it like that you can install and do what ever you need to do to the stut there. With my Maximum Motorsports Plates I had to disassemble the strut a bit and install a new bump stop. Well.... after the strut is good to go just reverse everything you did and reinstall it back in place. Then you can get your new CC plates out and work with that install. With my plates I had to drill new hole to bolt em in. but it wasnt that big of a deal. I just followed the directions and they came out great.

I know my install is a bit different than yours but I hope it helps ya bro. GL with it and dont wuss out and pay some body to do it. It REALLY isnt that hard
