96gt
i have a 96gt and my suspension is completly stock, i only drive it in the summer but in the summer it is my daily driver , i was just woundering what kind of suspension set up you guys thing i should go with. street more then strip .
thanks joe |
Lower it. 1.5" drop= Eibach pro kit or Steeda sport springs. 2" drop= H&R's. You might be able to get away with stock c/c plates for the 1.5" drop, but for anything more youll need new c/c plates. MM 4 bolt is the way to go.
Then some non adjustable shocks and struts. Similar to stock Mach 1 shocks and struts. |
the is rivits on my c/c plates , do htey need to be there , bc when i was doiog and aligement it was to drill them out , i was just woundering if i could drill them out
|
save yourself the trouble and just invest the 200 bucks in a set of plates. you'll thank me later. Tokico HP or Illumina shocks and struts and eibach or H&R sports or Steeda sports or FRPP B or F springs. Some rear wheel spacers (25mm) will open up the rear track a bit for more cornering traction and it'll look a bunch better.
|
Where can I find some 25mm wheel spacers?
|
H&R makes the ones I know of. MT has em, so does steeda and Maximum Motorsports. You can call my pal ken over at speedconcepts.net and get em from him as well. Tell ken r3dn3ck from wildhorses sent you.
