Rear suspension advice/question

I recently baught an 88 LX 5.0, the car runs sweet, 5 speed and came with a full set of street drag weld racing rims and tires.

15' by 10' on the back, so I got alot of tire rub in the rear wells.
The car stays straight on when given power, and i'd like to keep it that way, but I also would like less/no rub on my poor rear wheel wells (plus i'd like to avoid breaking my backseat passangers ass-bones when I go over a bump)

So my question is this:

I want to lift the rear of this stang by at least an inch, what are the best springs to do this? Also I am willing to go with inner-spring airbags as well, if I feel the need to keep the rear low. What kits/ combinations can give me the lift without losing stability. An airbag combo would be even better, thanks.

Besides springs, you also could buy adjustable lower control arms (the ones that with a ratchet, you can raise or lower the spring perch) or spring spacers (the ones that go between the perch and spring). As for springs, FRPP and Eibach sell a drag spring w/ the airbag.

I would take that advice myself. Adjustable spring perches on the RLCA's means you'll be able to tinker with rear ride height to a very precise point and you'll have better traction in general thanks to the usually higher durometer bushings and stiffer arms. using springs to do it probably won't yeild the exact results you want so arms are a better and easier option.
