what does everything think of this suspension set up

all from maximummotorsports

tokico shocks/struts
h&r race springs springs
caster chamber plates
eibach front/rear sway bar
subframe connectors
torque arms
panhard bar
rear lower control arms

am i missing anything?

PureStang 11-02-2006 07:26 PM

what are you setting the car up for?

ex-ricer98gt 11-03-2006 01:49 PM

street and strip

my future mods for the car which will be done around april will be ported pi heads, vt stage 2 cams, moser axels wit 31 spline differntial, 3200 stall converter and forged bottom end

back off the race springs. you'll hate that. they're not street worthy. stick with either the sports or super sports. Other than that, ditch the eiback rear sway and add in the MM adjustable weld-in rear sway. That'll be better for your use with the torque arm.

Only thing missing is the finish... convert to coil over at all 4 corners and slap on some tubular A-Arms in front (poly bushed).

It'll be badass when you're done. Still, if you're going that far not doing coil over... that's a bit like payin the hooker before you're done. Coil over mucho better-o than stock springs and easier to deal with.

thanks alot im tryin to get the suspension all done by mid jan

just remember that you need to order torque arm rear springs. They're a different rate than standard 4 link springs. I'd probably go super sport on the front spring rate, something in the 570-650#" range. Rears... get MM's recommendation on that.

everything is guna be from maximummotorsports, how much of a drop do you think ill get from the coil-overs?

r3dn3ck 11-03-2006 03:14 PM

whatever drop you want... they're 100% adjustable without tools.

Youll want more then a 3200 stall. Talk to Darrin @BC Automotive and hell set you up.
