Messed up in Texas

Hey all, I am sorry to say that there is one more stang in the graveyard, but not for long tho. I wrecked my car at 152mph saturday night and it isnt messed up all that bad. I am going to get it out of the impound tommorow. I have to fix it i dont want my insurance to know but im sure they will find out anyway being that i got an dwi, evading arrest, and reckless driving charge.
I left a dps officer, he was at 131 and i shot off from him. Does anyone know the topspeed of a 02 mustang gt? The last time they clocked me i was at 152 and thats when my front drivers side rim blew off when i triedto exit. it was the chrome bullitts 17x9 the lugnuts and the cobra emblem are still on the car but the rest is still somewhere to be found.

GOD is so good, I was going that fast and was spinning like that and got out of the car without a scratch on my body. I never drank and drive and the one time I did do it this is what I get. Im not trynna have or throw no pitty party for myself I'm just letting everyone know that GOD is good.

I wrote this thread to see what all used parts yall had for sale as far as my car, my dad said the front and back bumper are messed up. the rim is missing on the drivers side. and there is a hole on the rear quarter panel between the glass and the tire. The front windshield is cracked and the airbags are out. I need all of those parts and will be willing to pay whatever if it is reasonable to get those parts or any help or pictures on installing the airbags.

Any help will be appreciated if you know someone or have some of these parts for sale let me know. soon thanks for listening, and again this isnt a pitty party or anything. I'm sorry for what i've done and will never do it again.

p.s. does anyone know what the penalties might be for the 3 crimes listed above?

Badfish 01-16-2006 10:23 PM

 HOLY SH.IT!!! 152!!! while drunk!! your a JACKASS....glad to hear you're alive though...

Badfish 01-16-2006 10:24 PM

and BTW...im pretty sure you wont have a license for a while.

i love soccermoms 01-16-2006 11:41 PM

asshole. some drunk 18 year old went too fast around a corner by my house, hit 2 cars on the right side of the street, pushed one of those into a 3rd car, then pinballed across the street into a 4th car... then tried running!!! he didnt get too far though, he pulled into a driveway, jumped out, got about 15 feet, and dropped to the ground. loser...
anyway, no sympathy for u. but ya got pix??

Nofire 01-17-2006 02:12 AM

WOW you're retarded!!! I don't know what the top speed of your car was, but as for the penalties you listed, you'll be truly lucky if you don't go to jail for it. No liscense is a given. Probably a lot of community service. And a pretty hefty fine. As far as the car, I would fix it and sell it, b/c no insurance company will insure you after that one. At least you're still alive though, I'll raise a glass to that :beerchug:

:stupid: Parts to fix ur stang should be the least of your worries...hope you have a good lawyer!

Slither 01-17-2006 05:33 AM

You should be ashamed to even own a Mustang! First of all, I don't think my dad would be able to tell me what parts my car needed because I would have no head. Second, you shouldn't be saying how good God is, you should be telling everyone not to act the same way you did, you are not responsible, asshole, idiot, moron, inconsiderate of other people, etc. You are damn lucky you did not hurt anyone else. I don't think you need to worry about fixing your car because you won't be driving for several years. You already get your license taken away for DUI...but running from the cops?? CMON dude how much of an idiot are you? You won't be driving for a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG time and go ahead and say hello to big Earl for me while you are his butt buddy. I think you need to start thinking of what the Mustangs will look like when you are able to drive again and then worry about driving that. Our cars will have collector tags on them when you are on the road again. :beerchug: here's to people I wish I could shoot for putting my life and my families life in danger asshole.

FritoBandito 01-17-2006 06:24 AM

[QUOTE=Nofire]WOW you're retarded!!!

Yup, that pretty much sums it up. You are obviously not responsible enough for sports car ownership. Drunk @ 152 mph :nono: I wish I could feel sorry for you but I don't. If you ever get your license back I would suggest maybe a GEO metro or something to that effect. Dumb sh*t.

MattJ 01-17-2006 06:59 AM

Well, I can tell you that you are now considered a felon. lol. Way to go.

Icefreezen 01-17-2006 07:07 AM

Well at least your alive you were man enough to admit you were in the wrong.........next time dont let it happen....You'll have some time to fix you car considering you wont be a able to drive for a good amount of time.

Slither 01-17-2006 07:19 AM

He never admited he was in the wrong. He just said he was sorry and wouldn't do it again.

Hey him and W. got somethin in common now...lol

and on the upside....

if what you said is true I doubt u'd be worried about ur car getting fixed... unless your daddy knows some people or has connections and ur rich...

SpinMedia 01-17-2006 07:44 AM

Im going to be the first to say this is complete B.S. and this kid is just looking for attention. First off, if you get caught doing over 120mph ANYWHERE on public roads you will be in jail for it. Second of all if your under 21 and you got a DUI there is no way you would be at your house in front of your computer right now. When i was 17 I got a DUI and spent 3 nights at a state detention center which I was able to get the charges dropped after paying thousands to attorneys which I am still not done paying off. There is NO WAY this story is true. The first thing the cops would of done when they found your wrecked stang was trace the plate number and they would of been at your house within 20 minutes.

TEXASPAUL 01-17-2006 07:45 AM

how dare u then tell us "God is good" after u just committed 3 crimes!!!!!!
im glad your ok but i have no sympathy for you.
you arnt resposible to own or operate any veicle let alone a Mustang.
i know u said u wont do it again but u already made wrong decisions.
im glad your ok.

stevestang81 01-17-2006 07:53 AM

whatever, the kid was wrong...and he wont be driving for a while. but noone can sit here a point a finger....cause i'm sure many of you have gotten into your car after having one too many. take it easy on him, let the justice system deal with him...they will!

ps...God is good, the kid is still alive after...no?

Rabbit 01-17-2006 08:05 AM

I'm with spin on this one, I call :icon_bs: even if you weren't drunk and were going 152mph, you would have gone straight to jail at that point for resisting arrest. Also, (I dont know where you live) but if you wrecked at 152mph I think you would have more than a couple of scratched bumpers and a cracked windshield? Hell I saw a ranger wreck the other day going about 50-60 and he flipped 4 times on flat ground, are you saying you're that good of a driver to go 152mph and be drunk and have what seems to be only minor damage?

Oh, and if you were my kid, I don't think I (or any other dad on the planet) would say oh we can just get a few parts and she will be as good as new. I'd say one of 2 things.....1. Here's your lifetime bus pass or 2. Here's a lock for your brand new bicycle.

Yeah the 152 mph thing seems pretty far fetched. I also figured out cars would cut off before that. You see what happens to Nascars when they wreck going that fast and they are a box of metal. I call :icon_bs: also because there is no way that kid would be ok enough to be typing on the computer or a car that was salvagable. And I would also think his ass would still be in jail, not for the DUI, but for running from the law. Sounds like someone needs a hug and a friend so he doesn't have to make up stories.

Rabbit 01-17-2006 09:08 AM

Here ya go....here's a hiny of what real trouble your make-believe story could get you....

from here

# HB 1326 automatically suspends for one year the driver license of anyone convicted of illegally racing on a public roadway. Before the license can be reinstated, the driver would have to complete 10 hours of community service. The punishment for illegal racing increases to a Class B misdemeanor. The law also increases the punishment for drivers who are racing drunk, who have open containers of alcohol in the vehicle when racing, who seriously injure or kill someone during the race or who have been convicted multiple times of illegal racing. Those offenses range from a Class A misdemeanor to a second-degree felony. (driving 150+ mph can easily be consiered racing, even though no one else was around)

SpinMedia 01-17-2006 09:50 AM

yeah theres no way he didn't total his car if he lost control at 152Mph and hit something. The car would of shut off also if he was going at 152mph. When i crashed my car i scrapped a tree at about 40mph and all the fiberglass parts shattered everywhere, my front bumper shattered into a million pieces, my hood cracked in several places and ripped off, both my fenders some how managed to warp, my rear bumper completely ripped off somehow, everything got ruined. Stangs cant stand an impact like that. I have came to conclude the story is complete B.S. You seriously need to go to school and make some friends or get a g/f. Dont bring your ADHD stories here.

Islander03GT 01-17-2006 10:35 AM

I call BS. I want a scan of the ticket.

And if its true, you don't deserve to live.

blubyu02 01-17-2006 10:41 AM

I sort of figured that some of you would point the finger like your **** doesnt stink, like you all have never done nothing stupid before. Im not under 21 im in my mid 20's. I messed up majorly and am sorry for it and will never let it happen again. I by far am not asking for anyones sympathy. I could care less what people say about me. I do know that I am a man and am ready to take full responsibility of my mistake. For those of you out there that said they are Glad I am alright THANK YOU. When I get my car out I will take pictures and post them. It is seriously not all that bad. I dont have nothing to prove to any of all and like I said I have no need for sympathy right now I know i messed up All I am wanting is to know if anyone had any spare parts for sale thats all..................

Rabbit 01-17-2006 10:54 AM

No one is just here to "flame you" to be cool. Your story is just too far fetched to seem realistic.....

Cliff notes version....

Drive over 150mph intoxicated, wheel blows off (which would make the car at that speed impossible to handle). No major damage of any kind.

Cop comes up, you get ticketed (you never said arrested?) for: dwi, evading arrest, and reckless driving charge. And as of today (2 days later) you are here looking for parts?

Seriously man, a lot of people are good drivers, and I don't think anyone here could handle a car (with 4 wheels let alone 3) at that speed being chased by cops and trying to get through traffic and then exit all the while intoxicated?! If it were true, I don't think you would be here looking for parts, you would be here looking for either bail money or lawyer fees. Now, IF you were going around 70-80 mph the story is much more believable, maybe you're intoxication gave you double vision on the speedodometer or something.

Of course if someone wants to pay $6 and find out for sure they can get the Texas Accident report here

OFFdutyHERO 01-17-2006 10:59 AM

Where's the solid proof and facts behind this.... im not buyin it untill i see some.

SpinMedia 01-17-2006 11:00 AM

Well, I was actually thinking more around 7 or 8 and all this happened on Need For Speed Most Wanted. It's about the imagination my 5 year old daughter has.

To be sorry and say your not going to do it again you have to know that you did something wrong........think about it.....
