VORTECH S/C NOISE
 

yeah I sent my head unit to vortech in cali because it was making bad noise from head unit, I was told, and it did, sound like the bearings were just starting to go bad. after two weeks my mech called me and said ok, she ready,and I know he must have been nervous about the sound still being there because that was my main complaint. I promise,,NOBODY will by a VORTECH S/C if they heard this noise coming from my engine,,actually from my s/c. Vortech said its alright, I say the sound alone is not good, and even my mechanic agrees with me. so beware of the "vortech s/c"

What kind of noise is it making? Does it sound like grinding rocks? If so that's pretty normal. I thought mine was going bad the day I first started it up and I ran it like a I stole it for nearly 6 years! I had it overhauled and upgraded to a Si unit and it still sounds the same. I've had the same headunit for 9 years. I have shredded more belts than I would of liked and I have only destroyed one seal and I replaced that myself last summer.
