Just b/c you think you know everything there is to know about cars (or Mustangs in this case) doesn't give you the right to insult people when they have a question they honestly want an answer to. Someone (such as a senior contributer/editor to a forum SUCH AS THIS ONE) should be compelled to give said person an honest answer and then give reasons why that is or is not a good idea regardless of what that is. It would seem in the best interest of these people to do to give off a positive experience for someone just getting into cars and looking to gain some knowledge. But of course those on their high-perch aren't able to do that b/c they're too busy trying to prove themselves on a site b/c they're actually losers in real life and hide behind a key board.

If you think about it, that's the problem w/ a lot of things these days, not just in automotive world. People are turned off from trying to go forward w/ getting into a new hobby b/c when they try to ask for help/suggestions those who already are deep into something are full of themselves and make people look out to be dumb-a$$e$.

Thats my rant (who wants to bet that this post gets a "warning" by the same people).

The problem with this thread topic, if in reference to R3d, is that R3d does know just about everything mustang related. If one is inclined to be insulted, a reply such as R3d's, can be insulting to one less informed than he. I know he didn't intend to insult anyone, so I see his reply as harmless and see no fault.

First off, I understand what you mean. Some people are like that, but that's just how R3d is. He's not doing it to be mean or to be a dick. That's just him. He is one of the most knowledgable people on our forum. He's really doing it to help and to make you see the error or your ways.
