That's all you feel like doing is slapping your co-workers? You must have a heart of gold instead of a heart made out of black mushy stuff like I do. :p

Whether he's your boss or not, don't allow him to talk to you like that. Just nicely tell him, "please don't speak to me that way". I don't know what happened in your situation, but I know how you feel, TRUST me. Do you have anyone in a supervisory position that you can talk to about him?

Never let them think for a second that they can be disrespectful to you. It's just a job. If he wants an ass kicking give him one but make sure it's a proper fuckin' beat down. I've done it and am better off for it. That m-er f-er will never scream obscenities at his subordinates again (I know this to be true... he's a softy now and a little afraid of another gettin-knocked-the-fuck-out sammich).

Otherwise, speak with HR and let them know that you feel you're being spoken to in a very disrespectful manner and that you'd like your boss spoken to about it or you will go to the state labor board and make a formal complaint and failing that you can sue for allowing a hostile work environment.

Sounds like he needs both.

But seriously, you shouldn't let people talk to you in a disrespectful way. I've been lucky and always had good supervisors and co workers and never had to deal with anyone talking to me like that. I have friends that talk about how thier bosses treat them and I seriously wouldn't put up with it. I know if my VP called and started yelling at me I'd say "Greg, I don't think we should discuss this any further at this time. When we can talk about it calmly please call me back." Or something to that effect, still respectfull but let him know your not going to listen to his shit.

omg lmfao "nom nom nom" :kekekegay: you lucky bastard, at least you have some eye candy to get u through the day :D

yeah this dude here is seriously barking up the wrong tree. Little does he know i will freaking collapse his throat in one wickedly fast shot. :backhand:

whitestang04 07-15-2009 10:41 AM

He may not deserve any respect with the way he talks to you but you have to approach him with respect or it could get much worse. I have usually been lucky enough to have good employers and coworkers but I have had to deal with a few bastards too.

remember, "Officer, he made an sudden movement toward me while shouting. I was simply reacting on instinct to what I thought was a legitimate threat of harm".

Sorry to hear that man. I have about 5 guys in my section who could use a "Dan Henderson" once a day. Unfortunately the UCMJ thinks otherwise. I would definitely try talking to him first, before the beating ensues.

Haha, probably not gona happen because I'd feel like a creepy bastard if I was trying to take pictures at work. They complain all the time about thier backs and neck hurting while at the desk but I won't offer a message or neck rub just becuase it would be weird. Don't wanna risk teh sexual harrasments, lol.
