Has anyone heard these yet..they are new mufflers from flowmaster and I was wondering how they sound......http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/44_super.html

 

yup i heard em on a GT sound really nice check it out on youtube i think there is one or two clips of them on a mustang

 

they sound sweet on GT....but i wonder what it would sound like on a sixer...

 

some thing you could try out maybe be the first one to do it. 40's sound nice on a six im sure 44 will sound better or just as good.

But i bet the drone will kill you with the 44

 

hmmm tough choice i dont wanna buy em and have them sound like **** and have to buy others that would suck

 

Yup got'em on my 98GT and i cant speak for the neighbors but, im pleased....

 

if the neighbors hate your exhaust than its a good system IMO

 

yea they sound good, i just heard them on a GTO.

 

just got them put on my sixer with stock cats and an H pipe...im really happy with them...I will post a vid within the next couple of days

when someone talks about the 40's or 44's are they just talking about the muffler's? can getting a 40 or 44 really make the sound difference of stock to big rumbling exhaust or d you have to match the 40/44 with tubing/headers, etc?

seems like most people have flowmasters on their mustang. i have a 96 v6, what exhaust will be a rumbling v8-like sound exhaust? is a muffler all i need?

 

Look for the exhaust sticky at the top of this forum.

the flowmaster 40 is there 2 chamber muffler. the 44 is there new compack 4" 2 chamber flowmaster.
