Haha, yeah well about the only type of music that isn't against the govt is country and that's not gonna work, lol.

Hating on the gov't has always been "Cool" and a money-maker for artists, you just have to embrace it.

yeah was that video supposed to be against the war? cause with rage against the machine in the background everyone who watches it will assume that, myself included.

No, it's not, but I guess it depends on how literally you want to take it, my friend wanted me to use that song in a video and I had thought about how people would watch and think it's anti-war, but I just look at it as if it's an un- biased video using an ant-government song that'll confuse a lot of people.

But with almost every video I make I have this one in a similar outline with a different song that I just haven't uploaded yet, and that song would be Soldiers by Drowning Pool

you disabled adding comments after you got some negatives? thats freedom of speech at it's finest. And saying the only music that isn't anti-government is country is a pretty lame excuse for using an anti-government band in the background. Cool footage, terrible choice of background song.

I was going to disable comments on it when I uploaded but that was at 12:30ish AM and I forgot, every video I post turns into a flamewar of prowar/anti-war and it's mostly un-educated numpties making judgements based off of the news (check out some of the comments in the other vids), and go find some "Pro-government/war" bands, it's not easy, and I'm not so much of a die-hard warmonger and conservative as to want a song that's all about killing people and praising war. Like I said, it's the "cool" thing for many artists ever since the 80's to slander on government, authority, and that's what makes them so popular.

i just noticed there was a negative comment and then it was gone. And i'm not saying there are pro-government bands, since making fun of the government IS pretty popular in the music industry, but most bands stay relatively neutral most of the time. Incubus had one anti-government album, green day also then released one anti-government album. There haven't been too many artists who were ALWAYS anti-government but rage was one of them. Give me an example of another band who was ALWAYS anti-government

I don't listen to much anti-govt music but I'm sure there are some out there, also ones that have had their stabs at authority and support for socialism/anarchist ideals are Marillyn Manson, System of a Down, and then there's the classic vietnam-era anti-war rock like CCR.

I can definitely agree that System is anti-government in a way that rage wishes they were.(or wished they were) I don't really think the other two are anti-government, maybe a song or two but not almost every song like rage or system.
