Default SLP or stick with my flows?

Getting ready to install VT stage 2 cams and definitely want them to be heard. I am at the same time looking at SLP exhaust (the quieter of the two versions), but am wondering what you guys think will sound best with the cams? I have had the obnoxiously loud flomaster 40's with my mac xpipe for 2.5 years now and am ready for something a little deeper and more performance sounding but don't want to lose out on hearing my cams by changing to the slp exhaust (not really sure if i would or not)...decisions, decisions...

I can't say that I know 100% for sure, but even the quieter SLPs would not give you that deep, rich tone you are looking for. Bassani is costly, but known for there deep roar. (My brother has a catted X and catback from them, mated to JBA shorties that is so deep its incredible. However, to get away from the 'flowmaster' sound, magnaflow and borla are both good choices. I personally <3 my magnaflows, perfect sound for me!

either way you go I don't think your gonna really lose much sound from the stage 2 cams. Your still going to have that nice lumpy lope with whatever exhaust.

Don't get me wrong, I like the sound of mine, but it is just so obnoxiously loud. I guess I'm not looking for something that is necessarily really deep but maybe smoother. Me and my buddy who has an 01 bullitt have the same setup. Both of us have X pipe, i have 40 series flows and he has slp's. Mine is louder, but his sounds really good and sounds smoother, and sounds like a really expensive performance exhaust, where as mine sounds like....well, an xpipe with flows, which is what it is. Heck its just money right, I can try the slp's and if i don't like em, I can put the flows back on and sell the slp's to someone here on the boards. I just need to go out back now and pick some money from my moneytree

Quietest and loudest car I have heard is my SLP powerflos. Quiet inside the car but loud outside. I think thats what you want. Check out my vid in my sig.
