i like the sound of the borla better.. and as for other mods you shpud do gears and new a new mid pipe... i would say go catted x for either choice

I havehad Borla on my car for 7 years now. Absolutely loved borla, but wanted a change. Im in the process to switching to mac catback. if you get Borla go with an x pipe off road or catted, borla + x pipe = ****. if you go with flowmaster you will saving about 2-300 dollars and go with an h pipe.

if i was you i would consider mac as well, def over flowmaster.

borla.....to be quite honest, the two aren't even in the same ballpark. Flowmaster sounds pretty good, but will give you ZERO performance increase. Borla will give you great sound and a little power bump..especially with supporting mods like an x or h pipe

I would go for the borla. My friend just switched from flows to borla on his 01 cobra and picked up 13 hp (dyno proven). Only mods are headers, o/r x and intake/tb/plenum.

Magnaflow is another company that makes a straight through design which you will see better gains that the flows at a cheaper price compared to the borla.

Thats crap. I have flowmasters with an O/R X and dumps and I can say you feel the power it makes in the seat of the pantmeter. I'd guess I picked up an easy 15 to 20hp with that alone.Borla is over priced. Some people just like it because it is over priced.Makes them think its better then it is.

Your feeling from the 0/R X, not the flowmasters. I 100% agree with you about Borla being over priced.

I do like the sound of my flows personally, but I also have the x-pipe and headers to back it up. Borla sound good, but have a quiet tone for my taste. I am possibly lokoing into some magnaflow catback or something cause my flos are juist weld in mufflers at the moment. (was already on the car)

I've been more than happy with my SLP LMII's. The best thing you can do is listen to clips until you find something you're happy with. If it's cheaper, than great for you. If it happens to be Borla, enjoy the overtime.
