thinking about painting hood

I am considering painting the middle portion of my hood black along with the hood scoop. Has anyone done this? still kinda on the fence, but i think it has potential to look killer. also, if anyone could do a chop, that would be sweet. Right now it just has a shitty vinyl sticker there, i have been wanting to get rid of it for some time.

Sorta like this?

I've always liked that look, but Im not sure on the stock hood.... I don't think I've ever seen it on the stocker.

id like to see it with just the scoop and that part that you have black...i think that could look cool.

Like I said, I love the way it looks on aftermarket hoods, but Im not too sure on the stocker.. I think it could look good, just not 100% sure.

well i found a clip of pretty much the exact same setup i have with the painted hood. Its hard to get a clear shot of it, but it looks good from what i can tell.
