but in all seriousness..i don't like to just buy cars and toss em..here's how my car story goes, take it or leave it. my mom convinced me to sell the mustang for a more reliable, winter vehicle. plus i was pissed at the stang because A. **** was broke all the time (some my own dumb *** fault, and some weather) an B. you cant drive a mustang in colorado in the winter...it just doesnt happen..I dont wanna hear "oh but fishy I did it!" I don't give a ****. I did it too, and it sucks. SO i made a typical impulsive style teenage decision. i bought a truck thinking it would be cool to slow things down. have a bad *** lifted truck that can handle anything. i (VERY regrettably) spent all of my money and lifted the sucker...It was fun..for a little bit..but after a while i couldnt stand it. trucks just aren't for me....I LOVE driving. but i hated driving that truck, to the point where i couldnt take it no' mo'. it literally took the enjoyment out of piloting a motor vehicle. then i bought the best car i've ever had the pleasure of driving. I make 450 dollar payments for this ****ing car. and it's all worth it, because i love it. I am truly truly happy with this vehicle, and every time i drive it it puts a smile on my face. i just hope your mustang does that for you. and yes i can afford it, i make near 900 a month DELIVERING CHINESE FOOD. you heard me right. i'm not trying to front like i have a career or anything. **** i turn 18 in JULY for christs sake.. and i make upper 800s to mid 900s a month as a driver..Once my truck sells, if that stupid POS ever does, i'll have something like 150 dollar payments. hell yes. (****in truck still haunts me even after i buy a new car) and no i don't pay for gas...my job does The only dime i've dropped into my subaru is new rims. you know why? because the previous rims didnt fit, and were causing serious alignment issues. all my other modes, like my grille and headlights are all DIY.

anyways, i don't know why i spent the time to try and justify myself. maybe to give you guys some insight on the situation. but hell, believe me, don't believe me, i really dont give a ****. keep the insults flying..because life, fellas, is good to me right now

Well my buddy has a bad driving record like yours with the same car. hes a couple years older and his is about 240 a month, full coverage. Im gonna go ahead and guess yours is around 275+ a month. Thats gotta suck... haha. mines only 80 a month.

 

Mine is $85 a month. Just went down a whole lot since turning 25.

 

I just turned 24 last week. I wonder what itll be next year.

Keep that clean driving record and you guys can have good insurance policys that dont rape you, like us.

And for the record...when I was 19 I paid for my own insurance on the Cobra, and that was about $230-250 a month.

BTW Matt..I bet its more than 275/mo...because he has the truck on the policy too. With a combined car its probably something along the lines of $325-350 collectively.
