Default What is this fuel pump??? duel pumps

I was going to install a SVT focus pump in my 01 Bullitt and discovered it has already been changed to a duel pumps. Does anyone know what I might have in this car?? The assembly cover had part number 2R3VAD, 9H307, Base, 6/24/03.

Well considering you have double the flow of a single SVT pump, yeah its an upgrade.

Those are actually '03 Cobra pumps. See if your tank has a small plastic reservoir inside, or a large steel one. If it's the latter, then you have an '03 Cobra tank too, big plus with dual pumps.

If you're running the stock GT/ Bullitt tank with dual pumps then you're running the risk of sucking the tank dry, unless it has been modified. But I dont recommend doing that. The best/ safest way to run two pumps is with the cobra tank.

You may be right; I'm used to Focus pumps being green, and '03 Cobra pumps being purple. We typically get the Focus stuff from Motorcraft.

my focus pump is also green. But its either dual SVT's or cobra's or the steeda upgrade. Regardless you got a good fuel system so dont worry. Thats more then enough for the stock shortblock (assuming thats what your rocking).

Ok I just looked really fast and those part numbers pull up as Ford SVT Focus pumps. So you have duel focus pumps. Thats a pretty damn good setup fuel wise.

Default cobra setup

I called ford today and the 9H307 stands for all ford fuel pumps.

the 2R3VAD cross referenced as the cobra pumps

my tank had 2R3Z9002AA which matches the cobra tank according to forum research

check out the pics of the baffles

looks like I am all set

Thanks guys
