Default P1000

i got this code when i connected my programmer. i have an 03 gt. has anyone ever had this problem? if so how did you fix it?

i saw that but i have no idea how to fix it. does anyone know how to fix this?

Its not a problem. It means you diconnected your battery and the computer is running the check to make sure everything is right. Itll go off after you drive for a certain amount of miles.

oh ok but it would be nice to get rid of it. i clear it with the tuner i have but after a while it comes back on

If you have an autozone in the area go to them and have them read and clear it. They will do it for free and all is well.

Yeah i use to have that too, if you clear it it will just pop back up. It takes about 1,000 miles for it to disappear. I had it for a LONG time, but it finally went away. Your car is not running wrong or anything, and it is not going to affect anything. Just ignore it.

Yeah, as long as it's not throwing a Check Engine light it will take care of itself. Each time you clear it, it re-starts the test clock. It'll go away eventually.
