It has come to my attention that my 16" TPMS cannot be transfered to my new 18" bullit wheels, and that I have to order the Ford OEM kit for 18".
Can anyone recommend a place to buy them?
I need the actual Ford OEM kit not aftermarket TPMS.

Hi randy, 2007 Mustang V6 w/ stock 16" rims to be upgraded to 18x9 bullet rims on a 255/45/18 tires.

 

$44.00 each for the sensors but you should be able to re-use them. the attachment kits are $40.50 each. either parts would have tobe ordered and prices are + shipping

 

Randy are you saying only thr attachment kits need to be ordered?
makes sense that the sensors can be reused but not the attachment kits.
My local ford dealer is clueless...one tech advisor told me the whole TPMS can be transferred..."we do it all the time"...but his manager said no.
Neither suggested ordering just the attaqchment kit, only the whole thing.
My local custom car shop told me they do late model mustang wheel and tire upgrades all the time and just transfer everything.
Thus, I am totally confused and redy to just say the hell with it and leave it out and live with the light
