does anyone know anything about these cars? a teacher at my school is giving me his 79 924. it doesnt run and its been sitting for 4 years. has anyone had any experience with them?

Have fun with it. Would be unique. Be careful, though, those cars were pretty crappy. They were the cheapest, most entry level Porshe made except for maybe the 914.

 

yah... they are crap... and parts are expensive...

 

uggh, two guys i know at my school have those, and think they are the best freakin car made pretty much....

 

weird..i've never heard of a 914 untill this week and i've heard 2 different people talking about them like they were the greatest. Now this 924 thing. I need to getup on my porsches....the dealership i work for has a porsche store at the end of our strip.

you can buy one with < 100k on it for 2 grand... or cheaper
