stainless steel bumper inserts
I just got the stainless steel bumper inserts for my car. Is it ok to put these on the bumper in cold weather?

One would imagine, they stay on throuought the winter so... i would imagine it would be a nono on a really hot day... (and it is a no no)
|
Well then I guess I shouldn't get them cause I live in FL, and in summer its like what... 84-98 degrees outside... :hmh:

only when applying them, i believe all vinyls and things like this work this way, they say the car shouldnt have been in Direct sunlight before you apply them, and i guess you shouldnt put it back in direct sunlight whilst they dry

Heat or the sun is what evaporates the water underneath it. Dont try to put them on dry it will take longer and you will have air bubbles. My side scoops and chin spoiler have carbon fiber ones that I put on. You can use soapy water in a spray bottle so you can slide them into place and use a hairdryer. Work your way from one side to another get out the air bubbles. Dont over due the heat as you will stretch it but if you have to apply it on something with curves then more heat is necessary for it to stretch a bit to fit the contours.
