It looks really good. Way more gooder when you get the leather color matched!!

But I am not sure about brown, black, and silver. You have alot of work ahead and good luck to ya but that color combo is definatly odd.

ROFL. Yeah, it is definatly different isnt it? :D

Do they have any dye to dye my cloth seats??

pimpmustangGT 12-20-2005 09:36 PM

I'd like to see pics of somebody who used that leather dye - sounds interesting but im not doing untill I see some results first... please post

floppy 12-21-2005 07:17 AM

yeah, it's vinyl and carpet dye. i've never tried it on cloth seats so i dont know how it would turn out. i did it on my leather back seats just to see how they looked and you cant even tell they were dyed. they look factory as long as it's prepped right. im probably putting a rear seat delete in, i was just curious as to how they would look.

I liked his interior the way it was stock. Will the paint rub off on your clothes?

floppy 12-25-2005 08:30 PM

nah it doesnt come off. some people like the brown/tan interior, i hate it though... i didnt think about it much when i bought the car but now i wish i had gotten a black interior.

Jack The Ripper 12-25-2005 08:33 PM

Yeah i agree with floppy, i really dont like the tan/brown gig. Never did. The paint/dye works great, as long as you prep it correctly.
Now, if you end up jamming it with a screwdriver by accident yer gonna see the tan, but as long as you dont go ****ing your interior up with sharp objects it looks great.

Well all this convinced me to paint some of my interior today. I painted the trim pieces that hold all the switches on both doors and the whole trim around the shifter and the radio/a.c.. I painted them the same color as the car (DSG) and it looks awesome with my billet switches! I should have done this along time ago. Only cost like 15 bucks for all the supplies.
