Hmm, now that's wierd Mach1000 ?

My front tweeter and speaker aren't working at all on my Mach1000 now. They were working fine and then just quit but I don't think I blew them. Anyone know of any other idea? Anyway the head unit messed up? My rear speaker on the right side and my sub works fine, just the front tweeter and door speaker quit...

Wiring got pinched or shorted out somewhere. Get out your multimeter and start measuring current. good luck. lol

The problem is that it is the Mach 1000 system and is way more complicated than it ever needed to be.

I have a problem where my rear woofers will die out, and other times i can hear this whine in my speakers that varies in pitch with my engine as i rev it.

ok the whine your hearing is a current thinga majig - go to you local audio specialis and they will sell you a static remover thing that will fix that ... the tweeters and stuff however are another deal - did u install an aftermarket head unit? - if you blew them they wont just quit they will just sound like a$$ - a wire has come loose in you dead unit most likey - you just need to jiggle the harness and check the connection - there isnt anything in you dash that would have cut or crimped the line - it may also have come disconnected at the tweeter its self - that soud fix ur problem - also if ou subs are dying down youve got a problem - either you battery is getting weak/old - your alternator is dying - or one of the amps in the back is overheating/malfunctioning - circuit city or best buy shoudl test you amp cheap - if you haveing starting problems its your alternator or battery ... if you have to change your amp rejekt go with an aftermarket - where you can ajust the boost and gain on the amp itself - it will make your mach1000 into more like a mach 2000 - check on the rms tolerances first - but im willing to bet ford has the mach subs running on or even less than 25% of their power potential!

It's the connectors on the Mach 1000 probably. I just yanked out my whole Mach 1000 system for a Kicker system which uses the trunk space better.

Sounds like you have a bad or loose ground wire somewhere. A poor ground is the culprit of the whirring noise in the speakers a good portion of the time.
