Which hoods pins to get ???? Pic inside
1 Attachment(s)
I am leaning towards a tradition stye but not sure. Anyone seen some high quality ones??? I know Jack had this other latch system but I dont think it would look right on this hood. below are some other ones.
Hotchkis http://www.hotchkis.net/quick_releas...d_pin_kit.html Steeda http://www.steeda.com/products/slide..._hood_pins.php Quick latch http://q-latch.com/about.html Attachment 15541 |
quick latch

Quick latch, more subtle. Btw whatcha doin to your car man?
|
Added another pin Hotchkis.
Right now just trying to get all the final touches but last will be paint. |
quick latch look sweet
|
I honestly don't know, I don't dislike any of them.
But I'd have to say Quick Latch. |
I like the old school style with the stainless lines going under the hood to keep the pins from getting lost. That is my favorite style.
|
The quick latch is unique to me anyway. I would go with those but I have to admit I like the traditional look and will be getting those when I get my cowl good. Car is looking bad ass by the way.
|
Might I suggest.
https://mustangboards.com/pictures/3...fications.html http://www.aerocatch.com/ I think they would be just as much work to install that those quick latches. |
I was gonna say use the aerocatch ones like fr500 uses!
|
I change my vote to Aerocatch.
|
Aerocatch looks the best by FAR.

I vote with Spike on the old school pins.

Thats what I am thinking. I have looked at some but the lanyards look cheap. The Shelby ones are nice but not sure about fitment. I may go with the Hotchkis but noticed they dont come with lanyards.

the whole lanyard look is vintage/cheap looking. I have FRPP pins and they have the teflon coated lanyard.

I think I like the Shelby non logo ones as they come with everything including a rubber part to protect your hood from scratches.
