Rain.

There is no stopping it as we all know. But isn't it a large bit of bullshit? I dont know if it's just my nasty muddy county, but as soon as it rains, and i drive for 5 minutes. my car looks like a pile of shit, because its soo brown. The wheels, the front will be clean and the back will be horrible. and ill have to skip a day cleaning it because rain will be coming the day after. Does this happen to your alls cars? Even if i dont drive it in the rain and it sits in it. I get specs, and it ruins the cleaness of my chrome wheels. its just horrible. lol venting.

I generally don't take my car off-roading ;)

Haha but seriously, it's not that bad where I live. You probably don't live in a big city, do you?

SeanStang 07-06-2009 10:20 PM

Rains almost ever fucking day in Florida during summer. Don't wash the car as much as usual during these months. No point really.

krenogin 07-06-2009 11:19 PM

well i dont go offroad, i avoid it, but the cool thing to do where i live is find a ford or chevy 1500 and lift it off the ground. and cut all the exhaust off of it and run it straight. all u hear is trucks with at least 32's going around all day. then they kick it and the truck just goes "bom bom bom bom" in a gurgling sound like its climbing a rock face where its boggin so bad. AND the coolest thing to do with your big truck is to go offroad, and get back on the road and leave a trail of mud. i guess thats why mine gets muddy. but yeah, small town, i wanna get away from here.

It doesn't usually rain here much, but it has lately. The last two days have almost been like mini-hurricanes with how it's been coming down, it's crazy!

That's kinda how I feel about it. When its summer time here and the rain storms are coming through I just barely wash the car once a month. I have not cleaned my car since the last meet.

NeedACobra 07-07-2009 10:43 AM

hahaha.
You said, "Your Alls.".

I used to have that problem. But Now I live in a bigger town with less dirt roads.
I used to live down a dirt road, and Id wash my car on a beautiful sunny day, and then the day after it would FUCKING RAIN and my car would be orange. I feel your pain.

rkaz 07-07-2009 01:52 PM

I hate the rain. Even if my car needs washed the rain makes it look worse. It seems to always rain after I wash the car to, so I get screwed either way.

I'm right there with you. I washed my car three days ago...the last two days we've gotten something like 4-5'' in town.

Hate when the rain stops and the cars looks like crap. I'm with you on that one, but man, I sure do love when it rains in the 110 degree weather. :flamed:

Thats true as long as it doesn't rain for like ten minutes and then the sun comes back out. It just get humid as hell when that happens.

...and humidity pisses me off a lot more than a dirty mustang. See, look at the bright side. :p

LilMissLayla 07-08-2009 02:43 PM

I used to live on a mud road that turned to sludge and would almost get stuck on that damn thing and of course my car always looked like hell. (This is when I had my '01 black sixxer)

Still rains all the fucking time here, but I'm just glad I don't live on that road anymore. It looked like I went offroading everyday.

SALEEN1179 09-12-2009 03:56 PM

hell you guys wanna talk about humidity... try comming to VA... its 100% almost everyday

r3dn3ck 09-13-2009 08:31 AM

I also have this and its awesome for when stuff like this happens after I clean my car. At the end of the day when I pull in the garage I just mist the whole car wheels and all and wipe it down with microfiber towels. Cleans it right up after I have detailed it and it rained or the like. Just don't use it when the car is very dirty. Then you have to wash it. I will be carrying this on my site too soon. I should have boxes of product here any day now!

this happens to me. you can honestly never predict the weather in michigan more than 48 hours in advance. a couple winters ago it was the end a feburary and it was 75 degrees, two days later we got 8 inches of snow. last winter 3 days after christmas it was 71 degrees and people were GOLFING
