So I'm gonna be selling some stuff around the house here soon to hopefully pay for some exterior mods...I was thinking like some taillight tint, bumper inserts, lower bumper insert and possibly go wingless, get a black fuel door to go with my yellow/black theme...

So...

taillight tint -- what's a good brand of taillight tint? Is the AM stuff good?

bumper inserts -- what's the better choice? Stainless steel or vinyl?

lower bumper vinyl insert -- what's a good brand that's long enough to wrap under the bumper? I don't want to end up getting one of those pre-cut pieces of crap that look cheap.

I already know what fuel door I want, so I'm not worried about that. I just hope I can sell enough stuff to pay for it all. And I'm still considering pulling my ISOs, but haven't come to a decision on that yet. I'd like to go lower, but I don't know if I can with the bumps and crap in town.

I actually picked it up off of ebay. Can't remember the seller cause it's been so long, but just did a search and there doesn't seem to be much on there anymore. Might wanna try this site out: https://www.rockymountaingraphics.com Have heard good things about them, and it's where I'll end up getting one for my gt rear whenever I decide to get it painted and put it on. This one looks like it wrap under the bumper like mine so you can't see the paint color below the vinyl like some I've seen, just looks like garbage when it's like that I think.

As far as tail tint, just do ebay and get some for $15, no need to pay $60 for the same thing on AM or Autobadges.

Inserts are your call. I personally have the vinyls. Wouldn't get steel ones unless there chrome which I'm sure your going with black. Vinyls are way cheaper too.

I don't have any experience with the anything you listed, but I'm curious as to which fuel door you have chosen. I've been looking at some, I'm not quite sure which I like best though.

and I'm just playing with the idea of removing the wing...nothing serious now. I'll probably pull it next week when the weather is better and clean it up and see how she looks.

I think you should go wingless but that is only because I want your wing :D Sounds like all good choices but I would get vinyl inserts beacause some of the steel ones seem to stick out too far.

I wouldn't sell my wing. That's a crime. But I did a quick photochop on my car and I liked it. I'll have to give it a shot and see...I like the clean, wingless look. Just not sure how it will look on the yellow. I mean I already wanted to get the Termi ducktail spoiler, so going wingless is close to it...I dunno. I've got time to think on it.

Wingless, black fuel door, taillight tint. If you want my car, I'll sell it to ya. :p Just messin with ya. All them ideas sound about right to keep the black and yellow theme going strong. Wingless is kinda up to you. Being a mach, I would probably leave it, but that's just my 2 cents. If you do go wingless, tint the third brake light. I would go vinyl inserts. The stainless ones do stick out quite a bit. Keep us updated.

Yeah, I'll probably be ordering the inserts and taillight tint later today...I keep trying to find that fuel door closer to $50, but whatever. But like I said, I'll be deciding on the wing later, it's supposed to be wet all week so I won't even really play with the idea until next week probably.
