Hood Decal Thing?
 

Saw this on ebay and thought "oooooh" Figured it might look decent actually if i get it black, with my name in it or something. Leme know whatcha think, id probably have a GT hood scoop with it though. Final decision is up to you, but it's not something I would EVER consider doing if not because it's not my style, I don't think I'd survive the butt load of crap I'd get for having it without snapping and attacking somebody.

I personally like it because, it looks kinda kool+ all my friends have this thing of getting decals and putting their names on their cars. And they want me to do it too, so i figure why not do it this way, ya know? Also last name is Larkey in case any1s wonderin how it would look.

Anyway, I say that if you have the power to back up the terrible looks of a car with tons of stickers, decals, etc on it then who cares. But since you're in a V6 (not knocking V6s), the rules of the game change. I say don't do it, but again, the final decision is yours.

Define back up, like muscle back up, or like car muscle back up? And honestly i just plan to make this car look good and have a lil bit of get-go. Eventually im gunna buy something with atleast a 4.6

I wouldn't be surprised if either of those would beat you in a race. Anyway, there is a whole world outside of your school parking lot that you have to consider, too...it's not just about being the best in high school because when you graduate you'll find out that nobody really cares.

Yea i know. At this point im just goin for looks, eventually ill prbly put nitro in it, some gears and idk what else.

Nitro = nitromethane which is equal to an octane rating of 260 or so...rocket fuel, pretty much.

Yeah that would look absolutely terrible, definitely don't get it. Put the $30 towards savings for a GT or something. Tell all of your friends they like balls if they think decking out your car with hideous decals is cool. Best thing to do with your v6 is keep it nice and clean and keep it stock unless you have serious plans for it, but I don't think you do if you're considering all the appearance stuff over the performance.

So should i just forget it, and go with the black gt hood scoop and spoiler?

Honestly, *I* wouldn't do that either. But to each his own.

Do the black spoiler or hoodschoop if you can find used ones already painted black. Don't go out buying a new ones because it'll cost alot of money.

And IMO DO NOT put that decal on your hood, especially with your name on it.

The painted scoop and spoiler might be alright. It looks like you have black wheels in your sig, which the spoiler and scoop would blend with.

I just ordered the stripes for my car. I had them do my phone number so all the chics could hit me up.

I personally wouldn't spend any money on a v6 except to wash it and keep it clean and well maintained. I had thought about modding out my v6 and then I realized being out of school and working full time that I could afford a Mach.

I dont have a job yet, and yea im not gunna do the decal. The cheapest scoop i can find that looks quality and new(or close enough) is this one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...#ht_3576wt_944 Im just gunna take that to an auto-body shop and see if they will paint it at the same time.
