Hood and bumper paint chip fix up

I was wondering if these are things I could fix up myself or if they require a professional touch...

The above picture is on my hood. It's not very big... yet. There are a few other small pinpoint chips in other places.

My rear bumper fascia is another story. This happened before I got the car, so it's been on my to-be-fixed list for a long time.

I just want to touch these up a bit to make them look nicer. Any thoughts?

I'd get them both fixed.

You can get touch up paint for your hood. It won't look amazing, but rock chips always happen on cars and its not worth paying someone else to do it.

And for the bumper I'd get a quote to fix it, but it may be possible to find a cheap used bumper or even a GT one on craigslist.

BTW, where in MI you at?

Some searching led me to paintscratch.com. Quite the variety of products. Any one have any experience with them?

I had been looking for a used bumper for some time without any luck. bumpers.com is based in Taylor MI, they want $380-ish for new & painted. They offer local-pickup which means I could skirt the shipping charge.

Plymouth =)

The hood thing is just a matter of buying simple touch up paint and it will be good to go since it will always happen regardless unless you never drive ur car lol. Now the rear bumper I would say live with it or try to DIY its gonna be pretty pricy to fix the rear for such a small detail.

frozen where are you at in michigan? message me. I work in a detail shop and we can do both for cheaper than the other places but with a professional job. that hood just needs a little touch-up and cant tell on the bumper. is it dented a little? we could fix both by touching up and polishing and the bumper might need our paint guy to come in because it may require a little more touch up than we do ourselves
