1 Attachment(s)
When i took my bra off i noticed this little thing, and it kinda looks like fog lights might go here, and im not sure. Leme know will ya?
I mean these fog lights i think. http://www.americanmuscle.com/clfogliset9m.html |
yes.
Yay! um, how do i install em? :D
i dont know becouse i dont have fog light, but theres a few guys on hear that did it and they would know how.
ah kool, thanks :P

you cant just buy the 1's on AM, those are aftermarket replacements, so you have to have fog lights on the car already to install them. You would need a harness and a relay and the mounting bracket for the fogs, etc. i dont know if any v6's came from factory with fog lights(I've never seen any). but vmptuning makes a fog light kit

Yea i figured as much, just was using those as an example. And yikes 300 $ :( at the ford one
yeah but that stangmods kit looks WAY more professional then the vmp kit, i dont know if its $150 more professional but the vmp kit is kinda ghetto. i didn't kno stangmods made a kit.
EDIT: its 300 for the clear lense kit but only 210 for the oem lense kit http://www.stangmods.com/Ford-Mustan...ge-p/00970.htm |
Yea honestly that was my first thought lol. I figure if im gunna do it im gunna do it right ya know? Plus eventually im gunna smoke out or buy smoked headlights too.
What makes the vmp kit seem ghetto? It's a legit kit.
Cut out the 3 horizontal bars in the fog area for a cleaner look. |
IDK just doesn't look as nice. The VMP instructions make it look like it was DIY and not an aftermarket kit, not saying its a bad kit but looks kinda messy from the pics.
Don't speed $300 on fog lights that's retarded.
Buy the VMP tuning one.

Youll also have to buy a harness to even have it fit in there... You see the two pieces that jut out at the top, right above the bars? Those are screw holes... Theres also a few holes under the fog light hole when the harness fits in perfectly. Its a bit of a struggle getting all the bolts in with the bumper still attached, but it is possible. |
id send it to a shop to do it, id just end up messing it up or somethin.

Go junkyard diving
Lol spike i managed to fuck up a shifter with 2 wires, if i tried this it would be one of those EPIC fail pics

You can't have foglights.
Uum why not?
Because you won't be able to torque the foglight lugs without messing up your bumper.
because he said so. Sorry.

That's why they put those horizontal bars in the V6 bumpers, structural support.
how did you do it pcola?
I had to make make reinforcement braces for the back side of my bumper, I have steel tubes bracing the bumper against the radiator support.

Ill have to get some pictures of it sometime. It was quite costly and time consuming. |
