i also moved my faceplate.. i like it thus far...

That seems kinda out of place if I'm honest.

SeanStang 02-25-2009 09:42 AM

Idk how I feel about that. The bright red doesn't really tie in with anything else but your calipers. If you had a red car it would probably flow better. Have seen a lot painted DSG and it looks great; it's nice and subtle.

SxyXc 02-25-2009 11:47 AM

ummm well if it were red it would be stange, but that is Orange... but yea, when i get the money i was going to buy new front seats, and have my friend put a matching orange inlay on then, and piece it together as i go, to make it flow better... when i finish i think it will look good, it will deff be different.

i am just slowly making my car custom to me, with small changes,

SxyXc 02-25-2009 11:49 AM

i was thinking of maybe these seats... http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku with an orange inlay, and then a couple more small little noticeble thing i think will help it out...

SeanStang 02-25-2009 12:22 PM

That is orange then; thought that at first...lol. Assumed maybe the flash made a red look that way though haha. Anyways, matching seat inserts would be badass. Would definitely help tie it in.

i need to see it with the seats first.

engineman312 02-25-2009 06:33 PM

dude, i'm sorry, but no. black and orange typically look good, but you picked a halloween color orange. now maybe if you go with grabber orange... ::drool::

spike_africa 02-25-2009 07:38 PM

Considering there is no other orange on the car. I am going to have to agree and say its out of place. You could paint those peices gloss black or even maybe silver or something.

SxyXc 02-25-2009 10:46 PM

yeah, i understand what yall are saying.. and actually the color is New Kubota Orange, its the color we use on our race cars... i want to see how this turns out and if i don't like it will just cover it with a gloss black...

JoeyMD 02-26-2009 03:01 AM

doesnt look bad. ive done mine in blue. ties in with the blue fog lights i have and like you i want to do blue inlays on the seats and other small settle things later down the road

Jesus Christ your interior is dirty as hell. Would maybe be a good idea to clean it.
