Mach 460 and Ipod
Has anyone figured out how or attached their ipod to their mach 460 head w/6-disc in-dash changer other than those crappy FM transmitters? I've been looking around and the only thing i've found is the audiovox fm modulator, which also looks like a piece of shit. I talked to the idiot sound guy at best buy but he had no fking clue what was going on or even what a mach 460 was. I was looking for something that would be a direct connection and sound decent.

i don't think theres a way but if there is its new to me.

You can't without spending over about $200 to get a modulator to convert the signal from an RCA to a 3.5mm jack. Also, you can't expect the guy to know what the Mach system is. There's over 50 different sound systems and you expect him to know them all? I sure as hell wouldn't.
But, this is the same thing I encountered in the Termi and I couldn't find anything....sorry bro |

i had the same problem you did...i wanted the ipod hook up too but broke down and bought a new double din head unit. I'm just nervous about someone installing it in my cobra, im watching them install it...like a hawk.

yeah they have wired modulators that run about 100 bucks that will give you a good solid connection but i recommend just changing out the head unit, its easy and will be better all around, those mach head units tend to crap out especially the 6 disk changer, so its just a matter of time
