I havent used that but I used some meguires kind which i forgot the name of, and it was gone in about a week and a half. Im sure this is the same or relatively close. I think meguires is called "engine koat"

The key to CD-2 is that it has to "set". The heat from your engine will accomplish this. Spray the motor down when it is relatively cool, close the hood, run for 20 minutes. I prefer, and in your case it sounds like you would too, to go back under the hood afterwards and "buff" some of the hoses/ plastic. It will cut down on the "greasy" feel.
CD-2 doesn't seem to attract dust for me. Then again, I generally hose the engine off every wash just to remove some of the dust. |
I just did it today...looks pretty good. Hopefully it won't attract dust like whatever it was I used before...it doesn't seem sticky like the last product, but I think that one was mostly silicone. We'll see...

Looks very good. Nice and clean...not overly shiny, which looks gawdy IMO. Good Job.
