Bad paint?
 

So i washed and waxed teh mustang the other day and after i was done i noticed that the left rear fender or quarterpanel (:confused:) has a completely different finish to it. I waxed it again and still no change, has anyone else noticed this on their stangs? We also had body work done on the back bumper right after we got it cause the old man backed into something, could it be overspray?

I dont think its over spray, possible though. You can clay it, but then it will need to be polished, and not by hand. The other possibility is, the dealership had to repaint it because of some kind of accident during shipping. You just might not have noticed it when you bought the car. This happens a lot more then you'd think, and they dont have to tell you about it.

Where are you located?

I'm in lansing michigan. And there was no damage at the dealer becasue we pulled into the dealer just after the car hauler that had our mustang on it did. It was the frst GT we had seen in the area and we bought it before they even checked it in.
So i can clay bar it and polish it with a buffer?
