Following the footsteps.. Slowly, sorta..

Well, I've been itching to get a PC with all the trimmings for a long time now and I finally ponied up the $$ for it. Just recieved the package today from AG. Planning on starting out small, just friends/ family weekend details and depending on how it goes and how quickly I get the hang of it maybe starting a small weekend business.

Ill start out with the stuff that I got locally and will finish up with the AG.net fun stuff!

Got a great deal on the wet/dry Shop-Vac was on sale for $49.99 reg. $69.99

That's awesome man.. BTW did you happen to get your shop vac at Lowes? I'm headed over there in a few minutes to get me one too. My wife just showed me that in the ad. hehe... Good luck on your business. I've been wanting to do the same thing for quite a few years now. Maybe one of these days...

Yup, sure did. It's the best one there short of the pro series!

Thanks man, Hopefully I can figure everything out pretty quick I've been reading up and watching how to's for the last few weeks. We'll see if it pays off tomorrow! :Woot:

Welcome to the addiction! :devil2:

You are going to love the PC. With the proper selection of pads and polishes and waxes/sealants, you will be wondering how you ever did without one before!

I find that detailing my own vehicles is therapy.

I do have a part time detailing venture that pays for vacations and flying lessons.

PS: You are going to need a lot more mf towels!

whitethunder46 06-06-2007 03:24 PM

Good choices there! I love the Cobra towels, CCS pads, XMT series polishes, PB's NB, and the Pinnacle Safe scrub is a must!

One thing to add to your next order is a quality spray wax such as DG's AW or Pinnacle Souveran spray and also some Micro-restore. Trust me, your MF's will appreciate it.

What's the warrant on the Shop-Vac?

I got the Ridgid model, 4gal/5HP, and it was a little more expensive than others. However, it does have a lifetime guarantee.

The Shop Vac has a 3 year warranty.. But for a $79 vac I picked it up @ $49.. So I can't really complain about that.

This was just the first order.. Literally the first time I have ever ordered anything from AG! So, I spent about $360 there alone!...

Setting up another order as we speak though...

Congrats on all the goodies and whitethunder was right, your MF's will love you if you wash them in micro-restore. Also you should check your pinnacle XMT polishing pad conditioner, if it has anything floating in it you should send it back. They had a bad batch and are still trying to figure out whats wrong. They sent out my second replacement yesterday. Luckily autogeek has great customer service.
