Wheel Replica Chrome FR500 - Pitting
 

Has anyone else bought the 10.5 x 17 Chrome FR500 rims and had any pitting problems. I have a set of the 9 x 17 on the front and 10.5 x 17 on the rear of my 02 360R mustang. The fronts are fine and both rears have pitted after having them for 8 months on the car. I do not drive this car in winter when there is any snow, slush or ice. The so called triple platted chrome and the so called warranty seems to have amounted to nothing as these wheels have pitted worse in this time period than an old set of Cragar SS wheels. Brings back bad memories of wheel rot. These are not extremely expensive wheels but they sure did not last long.

send em back to where you got em from. they should be covered under warrenty. send em the tires too so they can pay for break down and mount and balancing as well.
