right side speakers stopped workin today...

so on my way to work today my right door speaker and right rear deck speaker just stopped working. wasn't listening to anything loud, just some morning talk radio at normal volume. they are alpine and i have a pioneer headunit, so it isnt the stock ford stuff in there. left channel still works. any ideas what could have happened/how to fix?

Loose cable, blown speaker. Check your connections

im going to check the wiring harness on the head unit this weekend. we put the head unit in a few weeks ago, it may have not been connected all the way and come loose a bit. i dont think its a blown speaker(s) because they both went out at the same time

same thing happened to me. check to see if all of the wires are not loose in the plastic holder that goes into the back of the head unit. this happened to me and it caused my rear speakers to do what your speakers are doing. some times when you put the plug in, the prongs dont go in the hole and get pushed out. simply push them back in and make sure they are snug

ok cool, thats what i was thinking it may have been because we just installed it a few weeks ago. im gonna pull it out this weekend and make sure its seated correctly, thanks!
