So I was thinking about putting some stripes on the mustang, theres a guy out there selling precut ready to go ones. Was thinking black maybe, but every color ive looked at just doesnt seem to look good on the car. Any opnions?

I say no stripes

I have a '02 MG GT and have thought of the same thing. Maybe check with some of the photochop gurus and see if they can put some stripes on your car to see how it would look. I personally wouldn't do vinyl stripes, I'd get a shop to professionally paint them on

Black or white is your only option.

I dunno.. I'd have to say no stripes..

But if you do, go with a different shade of gray (darker), or black.. White wouldn't look very good.

i think im going to stay away form the stripes, i dont think any color will look good

Agree, black or nothing.

dont put stripes with mineral grey. it looks like garbage...

CreekBalla52 11-12-2006 04:06 PM

I would say no stripe with that color. But if you really want it Dark brown or black .:boink:

Wonderwyrm 11-12-2006 09:22 PM

yeah im with mattj, nothing will look good.

maybe some inserts in the back eh? any thoughts?

Slap some SS insert on your bumper. I think it dresses up the rear-end pretty well.

Keep the body/paint stock and just lower it.

the pre-cut stripes are usually expencive. if you get some go to rallystripes.com and scroll down untill you get to the 8inch stripe kit.

if you can afford it get them painted on. The vinyls look great for what you pay, but nothing beats painted stripes when you get that clearcoat all shined up and see the reflections lay right across the stripes.

How much is it to lower it? (2002 Mustang GT)

i would go with the black stripes

Jack The Ripper 11-13-2006 01:27 PM

Silver stripes would look sweet. Would be pretty subtle, but nice.
