go to f'in wallmart man, they have freakin tint by the rolls in the automotive. then go to www.rallystripes.com and get the recipe for the solution for wetting the tint and area. get an exacto an do it yerself. thats what i think im gonna end up doing.

you know what i think i may just do that myself, It would be alot more cheaper. But my only issue that what if i screw up. how hard is it to take the tint off of my tail lights? And what percentage should i go with on my tail lights? i dont want them to be to dark because i want people to be able to see me at night.

Yeah, doing the tint your self will save alot of money compaired to the 65 bucks it will cost you for a set of either taillight or headlight tint at Autobadges.com. I got the side marker blackouts for $18 though and love'em. It wouldnt be hard to take the tint off, just spray some amonia (original windex i think would work). But with the money you'd save it wouldnt hurt if you messed up and had to do it again. And if you got good you could tint other things like the 3rd brake light, sidemarerks, foglights, ect. You could go pretty dark and people still see your lights.

When you buy precut tints like the Autobadges stuff, you are mainly paying for the convenience of everything being precut (although the tint is a bit thicker than regular tint). You definitely will save money doing it yourself, provided you don't get irritated easily like I do sometimes, cuz then the precut autobadges tints become worth the money!! Don't do the spray stuff though, we all know not many people have had too much luck with it.

you can go as dark as you want...at night with my blackouts it looks like i dont even have them blacked out...the taillights are pretty powerful at night

Hmm, that would fall into "self-applied tint" in the Rice Citation, jakc. :breakdancesmilie:
