Grille Eliminator DIY?

Is there a way to get rid of the factory honeycomb grill in the front while still keeping the horse in there? and without having to buy a eliminator kit?

There are always ways to do everything, but sometimes it is a lot more effort than it is worth.

By removing the grill you will have holes on the bumper under the pony. filling and painting would need to be done. or you could find some plugs and paint em to match the car and stick em in, people sometimes do that with a wing removal.

you will have to fasion some kind of a bracket in order to hold the pony on.....

i dunno, i dont think a DIY grill delete could ever look as nice as an aftermarket grill delete.

but for the love of god, get rid of that grill. it maakes the mustang look a billion times better.

2 things that should have been on the origional factory design.
No grill
Chin Spoiler.

i also wanted to keep the corral around the pony, so i purchased the 2-piece grille delete for $50 on ebay and a roush bracket for $20 on ebay aswell and tada!
