Took a good look at pony and.... :'(

Well i was washing my stang off and i noticed on the front bumper that it felt really ruff. I got down there and looked reeeaaallly close and there is a freakin huge ass spot on the front bumper where the clear coat is coming off. :( I dont ever remember that spot being there when i bought it. It needs a new paint job really bad cuz the owner before me was a crappy driver. Scuff marks in the paint, chips, spots where the paint has come clean off. The rims have spots where it was been hit by a curb. Its pissing me off. I cant afford a new paint job and the only thing i can think of is take Automotive Collisian Repair at the Vo-Tech center where i live. I havnt signed up for classes next year and i could take that and get a sweet new paint job for my stang done by me! :) but...:( i was really wanted to take computer maintence and repair. I really really really cant afford a new paint job cuz..im 15. :dots:

What should i do? Is there a quick solution to fixing the clear coat prob? Thx

Could try waxing/buffing the $hit out of it. It might help not feel so rough at least.

if i buffed out then wouldnt it just make the spot bigger?

Another thing.... What does everyone think of a White Mustang w/Blue Stripes?

If i decide to take auto collisen repair then i could repaint car. Should i keep Green or repaint White?

Wat Highschool do u go to the teaches how to paint a car??
Any highschool im sure is better than mine. Our auto class teacher thinks he can hook up a FWD and RWD car together and make it run and be fully functional. Complete moron.

i am taking some classes in the summer at the local community college

and yes get rid of that GREEN!!! ahhh get something else

Xilan 04-01-2006 08:28 PM

Lol the class that teaches that is at the VO-Tech center at the college. I think im going with the computer class cuz thats what i do best. Why i love my green car! Any way... i guess i'll leave it the way it is cuz all it is is a "dd". When i get a job im going to start saving up for other stuff....maybe another car :).

Congratz, Im going to college and im going to major in Computer Science. I would like to take that auto coliisen repair class so i could learn how to fix probs with my car body....and get a free paint job. :)

I think i have the same paint as him, its a dark greenish blue, really sexy paint, i wouldnt take any 94-98 in any other color, but i hate 'regular' green on those years, ugh. However, my paint is flawless, beautiful, feels better and has a better quality to it than any paint on the newer mustangs... and that stuff could take a beating, i smashed into a honda accord, smashed all of his paint off into little flakes, ruined his bumper, and my car was perfectly fine, no way you could tell anything had happened to that front bumper, paint is strong and thick. My idea is he has acrappy re-paint... lol

some how i got water under where my spoiler sits and it ate away at the clear coat......i found it today...and im not a happy camper

Xilan 04-03-2006 07:00 PM

That might be what happened to mine...with the water. I dunno I just noticed it one day washing the car.
