Sorry, I posted this in the wrong spot the 1rst time,(i'm new to this computer talkin ****)

Alrighty then...

I was 10 sec away from buying this w/ an additional 2 settings.

I own a 94 GT Convertable.
ENGINE>
5.0, K&N filter, h-pipe, no cats, dual all the way, stock headers (new ones soon).
TRANNY>
stock 5 spd with shortthrow shift
REAR also stock

I also have after market wheels n tires.

NOW THE QUESTION>
Is the computer a good idear? About how much increased hp? Should I buy other stuff to go with it?

Any tips, comments, answers or whatever are greatly appreciated. I dont kno much bout computers.

The computer chip will optimize your spark, A/F, etc for your current modifications to your car. We can also disable the CEL if you are throwing codes for not having O2 sensors, EGR, etc, and adjust and disable the systems altogether. While every car is different, average gains using 93 octane gas are in the 10-20 HP/TQ range on a pretty much stock car with a mail order tune, to the obscene range on heavily modified cars and forced induction cars that have been SCT dyno tuned.

As far as accessories, we sell a chip bezel that locates the selector switch into your cigarette lighter, for convenience, and it looks really cool and is easy to install. This easily allows you to switch between 87 and 97 octane tunes, stock tune and custom tune, and any other tunes you might purchase. This of course is optional, and people that do not buy the bezel usually leave the wire and switch hanging loose in their glove box.

I have a few questions about the tuner. I normally buy the 93 octane gas for my car, but it is stock (as far as I know). Buying a tuner and having it programmed for the 93 octane, would that improve my gas mileage? And what's the difference in getting it tuned for 87 octane or 93 octane? And if it does increase my gas mileage, would it be significant enough to purchase the tuner?

I bought my mustang used, and I'm not sure if it's stock or not? Is there some place I can compare my mustang too to see if it is?

Why are you using 93 octane in your car when you don't need it?With a tune yes without not good at all and a waste of money.
