Spark Plug Change
Hey whats the easiest way to change the spark plugs on a 2002gt...I can do but i want to make sure i don't mess up anything or have to do anything thats not required..thanks for any help..Just did the seafoam to not as much smoke as i thought there would be but the car is smoother now...

Its real simple. Do one at a time. Unclip connector. Remove the fastener holding the C.O.P ( coil over plug ) pull the coil and boot out. Unscrew the spark plug. Make sure the new plugs are gapped correctly. For stock iginitions .054 I believe. Re-install new plugs. Some people use a small piece of hose to install the new plugs this way you cant really cross-thread the spark plugs back in. then finish em off with the ratchet. Pretty easy huh?

Forget whatever else you see disconnected in the pic. You shouldn't need to remove anything else as I remember. I haven't ever just changed the plugs so I'm not for sure.
