Running NOS what plug to use

I heard if
I ran NOS I have to use colder plugs....
What does that mean by colder plugs and what kind if I have too?

it means that the plug holds less heat.

and you should run a 1 set colder plug for nitrous not (NOS) up to 100 hp. use NGK TR6's and for 125-150 use 2 steps colder plugs, which are TR66's i belive? i might be wrong on that one.

Man dont use the NGK TR6 plugs. I used them and the car ran lean N/A ! i dont know why but it did. I switched over to autolite 103's and now it runs great. Theyre copper and one step colder.

Plugs serve two purposes: to produce spark and to conduct heat from the combustion chamber. Colder plugs draw out more heat. If you run plugs that are too cold, the plugs will foul as the chamber will not get hot enough. As a rule, you should run the coldest plugs possible as a coller motor is better for longevity and efficiency.

Autolite 103's should work great as a one step colder plug.

It's alirght I changed my mind on the plugs and dropped some dough on some DEnso iridium plugs today. What a difference. Also I picked up my accufab T/B at MT as well all installed inless of an hour. My pwer seems to be their now. Thanks for the info but not going to get NOS. I'll wait till March I'll have the money saved up for the supercharger.
