Nitrous/Air in Lines ?

Hey guys well I will be using my zex kit pretty soon. It does have a wot switch but no window switch or bottle warmer or purge kit. My question is so do i just hook up the bottle to the line open it up and boom I am ready to go? but then how will air get out of the nitrous line? Also once I am done spraying for the night do I just close the bottle and call it a day or do i have to loosen up a connection to let the nitrous out of the line? I know they are stupid ?'s but rather ask than mess something up.:o If anybody else has anyother tips I'd greatly appreciate them.:D

If you don't have a purge then all you can do is open the bottle and let it rip. It just means that the first time you use the kit after opening the bottle the nitrous is not going to hit very hard. The 2nd time you use it, it will hit much harder. When your done you always close the bottle so you don't leak out any nitrous which costs money. Oh and if you didn't already I always take the line off the nitrous solenoid and have someone hold it (it will be crazy and want to fly around, but it won't hurt you) and open the bottle real fast and then close it. This will blow any crap out that might be in the bottles tube or nitrous line from trashing the solenoids.

it's just a soft hit... dont trip. 2nd blast is funner but not a worry point.

Ok cool thanks for the info guys and one more thing after I let er rip do i just close the bottle and call it a day or do i have to loosen a connection in the nitrous line to let the nitrous in the line escape so it wont damage the line/solenoid? I won't be spraying too often. Also is it safe to leave the bottle mounted in the trunk even under 100f heat?

I have read that leaving nitrous in the lines puts stress on the solenoids after time and wears them quicker. Usually you would just purge it out, but without a purge I guess just loosen the connection after the use. And yes the bottle will be fine in the trunk.

just save for a purge kit and bottle warmer. window switch if you have a manual.

just shut the bottle down... then if you like you can leave the system active and got WOT after 3500rpm to pop the last bit of nitrous vapor out of the line. Then shut the system down and be happy. Not necessary though... just shut the bottle off.

I just shut the bottle off as your gonna have small leaks regardless of how hard to try to fix them. So it will bleed off that pressure on its own. And I leave my bottle in my car year round here in Florida with no problems.

I'm with dustin, once you shut the bottle off over the next day it will leak out and in florida it get hott i've had 1300psi just from florida heat just dont let it rip with that high of pressure wait for the pressure to be a lower safer pressure.
