Some Procharger Questions

I have a 2002 GT with 81,xxx miles on it, and I recently purchased a P1SC kit on a Mustang forum. It came with the head unit, intercooler, all piping, an SVT Focus pump, 42 lb injectors, and BOV. This weekend I just went to Summit and got FRPP 3.73 gears, Autolite HT plugs, autometer 3 gauge A pillar, and I ordered Lunar series boost, oil pressure, and fuel pressure gauges. I also bought a Roush performance series gauge cluster. I also have a Sniper Tuning programmer. Basically my questions are as follows:

Is there anything else I should buy before I install?

How will the 3.73s be with the supercharger?

Will the canned tune on the Sniper be sufficient? I dont plan on taking it to the track anytime, its strictly a street car. Thanks for reading and for any replies.

can't think of anything else to buy, but im prolly not thinking very well today.

3.73's are awsome with a procharger. some even go to 4.10's after awhile. it will spool very quicky.

the canned tune is not good IMO. go get a dyno tune by a reputable tuner near you. I never trust a canned tune and more than not there is more HP to be made with a dyno tune over canned.

You are going to need a wideband air/fuel ratio gauge or hand held one to be able to tune the car and fix the a/f ratio. Otherwise sounds like you know what your doing.

On a side note what are the autolite HT plugs, are those the new platinum ones they have or Iridium ones? I would of gone with the tried and true NGK TR6's or Autolite 103 but that's just me.

Im using TR6's as well.

As far as gears Im having traction issues when reaching full boost. Granted I have really bad tires right now and in need of some nittos DRs . I cant imagine driving with 4.10s as it stands now I shift 1st to 3rd to do fewer shifts. If you are going to be on the track alot go with something steeper but I think on a street car stick with something lower. If you are in the rain or snow this may be an issue as well. Get the wide band AF gauge.

Prochargers dont use BOVs they come with by-pass.

^100% agreed with Dustin. If you don't get an A/F ratio gauge you are basically setting yourself up to fail. If you don't tune for the rich and lean out conditions - you will severely end up hurting the motor if it becomes too lean. You will have to tune so that as the rpms and boost increase you will maintain a correct A/F ratio. As for the plugs either NGK TR6's or my favorite Denso's.

4:10s are steep for a street driven car unless you are going to do stop light launches (highly unlikely).

OK so I went back up to Summit today and tried to exchange the HTO plugs for the TR6s, but the guy who helped me said they quit making them? I knew that this didn't sound right, but he gave me the plug that "replaced" them. It's an NGK V-Power like the TR6, but the heat range is 9 instead of 6. Can I run this plug?

Check with Stangcharger on that one. Thats awfull funny because my buddy just got a new set a few weeks ago?!

Vpower is just a product line NGK uses.
