Kenne Bell VS. Vortech

Well, guys most of you know ill be purchasing a supercharger soon and made a thread about the Mongoose kit from MPH.. Since ill be supercharging the car soon I want to exsplore all options and that brings me to Kenne Bell I got some questions.. and would like to know how much more is involved in installing the kenne bell over the vortech? what would I need to do or have done so my Stock 2v motor doesn't go south on me, I dont have plans as we speak to upgrade the motor But im looking for some extra speed for now and possibly in the future building the motor.. So any help would be appriciated! with the summer here I want to get a poweradder thrown on soon so Ill be able to enjoy atleast the 3 months of good weather we get a year lol :)

Installing a KB is a lot more extensive since you have to disassemble more than what you would a Vortech.

As for upgrading the motor, you should be good stock with a KB or Vortech. It's when you start uppin the boost is where things must be changed. I would at least have some money saved just in case something bad does happen. Like a blown block, transmission, or rear end.
