Hooking the n20 back up.....
Well theres no use in having it on my car if its not functional. I started working on it yesterday. I had all the lines and wires unhooked to everything because I was planning on selling the kit. But my tuner didnt put any timing in my tune and it needs some more low end for the track I think. My s/c blows hot air non-intercooled so I figured I could run a small shot for "cooling" lol. The plate I have is rated for at least a 50hp shot, but I am wondoring if its ok to run a 30 shot? Was would be bad about that? I think that as long as the bottle pressure is at 1000psi it should distribute the n20 pretty evenly across the 2 bars.
A 30 shot should make at least 50whp with my intake temps bieng around 170-190 degrees. It should drop those temps down about 100 degrees. My car should make at least 350whp now so that would put me at the 400whp mark If I spray through the whole rpm band. I may set my controller to spray only from say 3000-4500 rpms just to get it into boost faster. Should I worry about intake backfires as long as the window switch is working? I never had a problem before. I guess if it did backfire everything should blow out the BPV right and keep the blower unhurt?
NX makes a new controller I want really bad ---> http://www.nitrousexpress.com/Pages/nxd5000.htm Its $300 though, but that would be sweet to have.
Looking to spray occasionaly at the 1/8th mile on M/T DR's should make for decent times.:D
