The mayor of Chicago refuses to see that the ban on guns in his city has FAILED to prevent gun violence and he is now trying to place huge restrictions on the guns that they are now allowed to have.

when will stupid people ******* realize that people who shoot people already don't obey laws? and that they already have guns?

the city government here is 10000% retarded. Mayor Daley won't repeal the law because he's been in office forever and it'll make him look like a pushover.

Once it DOES change and people are allowed to own a handgun, it's still going to be stupid. they're going to have high registration fees, mandatory insurance and training and limits on how many you can own. they're also trying to limit which vendors can sell them, it's a huge clusterfuck. i'm glad i don't live within city limits.

 

im taking my CCW class on the 17th. I cant imagine living anywhere that doesnt allow conceal carry...it reduces crime everywhere its implemented. everywhere. If that isnt proof enough for the law makers..they need to be shot.

 

IL is really assbackwards with a lot of the laws, especially regarding guns. I can't imagine the day they allow CCW within city limits.

 

I'll tell ya, around here, but even more so back home in Texas, you think twice about ******* with someone becuase anyone could have a gun at any time. Buddy of mine keeps his .45 in the center console of his jeep 100% of the time if it's not on his hip.
