Fairly intelligent, ha. He wasn't the secretary of state or anything. That doesn't take much intelligence.

Commences jumping on the bandwagon...Now.

Sarah Palin is going to be the president of the united states? Did I miss something? Basically all that Colin Powel Said in the video is that he wants the country to be even more liberal and that he doesn't like the fact that people are asking questions about Obama. :blah:

Steeda97 10-19-2008 06:39 PM

He said he didn't like the direction the Republican party has gone in the past few years.

I'm pretty sure that Colin Powell has a little bit more credibility than Lindsay Lohan.

Me neither but that doesn't mean I'm going to vote to the left so that the government can become your typical sub-prime mortgage buyer and spend above their means. Powell is smarter than that to endorse someone, like Obama and it's sad that he just picked the giant bottle of douche, instead of a 3rd party candidate, just to avoid another turd sandwich.

As long as we agree that he has just a little bit more than Lohan, but a little less than Oprah then we're all good. lmfao

How dare you make fun of Oprah!

BFD, he doesnt meen squat today....

wasn't it just a few short years ago the Dems were bashing CP on his speach to the UN about WMD's along wth other Bush policies, now that he's changed his stripes, he's a better person:confused:

sorry but I ain't buying it:all:

SnTBakosFinest 10-20-2008 04:15 PM

Could have been because the WMD speech he gave was BS considering the Bush administration had basically taken over his job and left him out of the loop of everything but needed him to speak in order to get what they needed.

"Its a slam dunk" and thats all I've got to say.

Oh ya, note that the CIA director that sat behind him at that speech, quit.

And another note, he was a 4 star general, that counts for something, along with his other political experiences.

Maybe his endorsement shows that McCain may not be a very good solution to things? Or is everyone here going to be like the pill popping Rush Limbaugh and start throwing the race card in?

I don't care who Powell endorsed, I respect him and what he's done for this country. I think it would be smart for either candidate to appoint Powell to a position in their Administration.

I believe Powell had too much integrity to be a puppet or have his name attached to the Bush Admin in the history books.

It's also funny how everyone loved Powell and then he jumps ship cause he didn't like what was going on and now he's like the anti-christ or something.
