you think black rims will look ok on the true blue color. I have never really seen it at all. and this is the first time ive ever posted my car on mustang tuning since all the mods. The bad quality pic was takin with my phone.

im really gettin sick of having to keep up with the chrome rims. Anyone else with chrome feel the same

bikerjoe 02-14-2006 03:13 PM

those in black would be sick

Mug11 02-14-2006 03:19 PM

nothing bad about chrome... or polished as i have (for now)

Any dark car with black wheels looks friggin mean.

Personally, I dont like black with true blue, its such a bad contrast. Either get some more chromes, or some regular silver or something. And PLEASE, take those AWFUL door protector thingies off.

Badfish 02-14-2006 03:38 PM

omg...if you change those rims, I am persoanlly going to find you, and hit you. your stang is gorgeous! ( minues the door things)

whitethunder46 02-14-2006 04:01 PM

agree with no black on that car.

sweat it 02-14-2006 05:48 PM

Looks good the way it is.:beerchug:

03stangblue 02-14-2006 07:55 PM

i would take the door things off but i bought it with them on there and i woul dhave to change the little vent thingy to cause that has been changed to, and the door would have huge streaks down the side do the door would have to be repainted. so i dunno what to do.

Badfish 02-14-2006 08:19 PM

as long as you keep your rims now, you'll be OK

03stangblue 02-14-2006 08:32 PM

There such a pain to keep up with and at college i have no time to clean them. But the black i dont think looks to bad. maybe like black dd fr500's will look good.

whitethunder46 02-14-2006 09:09 PM

Do you really wanna spend 600 dollars on black rims or take a little effort with some free tap water and have your chrome rims be the better option.

redfire04 02-14-2006 09:22 PM

whats wrong with anthracite color? they wouldn't be as hard to keep clean and you could get fr500 if thats the style you like...

personally i think anthracite would look better than black.
don't let all of our opinions persuade you though, get what you like afterall we aren't the ones driving it! :punk:

03stangblue 02-14-2006 09:27 PM

i wish a lil tap water was all it took. you have to use the chrome polish every so often or the rims will go to sh!t. another reason i would change though is cause tires are ridiculously expensive for 18's

Badfish 02-14-2006 09:30 PM

dude seriously....keep your rims,, they look good and theyre free....who cares if the look kinda bad for daily driving, when u go to a car show or take pics clean em

Slither 02-14-2006 09:46 PM

Seriously man. I have polished rims that get dull if its freakin humid outside. I have to POLISH mine ALL the time but I love them. Take a little time and wipe them off with a cloth at least. Everyone has it better than I do. But polished aluminum looks amazing in my eyes. Much better than chrome. I still like chrome so don't think I'm hatin' cause your car looks hot.

foncarelli 02-14-2006 09:56 PM

Black rims with the True Blue doesnt work. Not even if you had black stripes.

whitethunder46 02-14-2006 10:05 PM

I've had two sets of chrome rims and are about to get a set of Saleen's. Of course you need polish sometimes, but water is fine most of the time.

03stangblue 02-15-2006 08:03 AM

i guess ill stick it out with the chrome. thanks for all the compliments to fellas. i guess next is going to need to be some tires that stick with these 4.10's
